FAQ
How much does it cost?
We will come out and diagnose the problem for $125. That includes the first hour of labor. So, if we can fix it right there, with no additional parts needed, that would be the cost. If additional labor is needed, it is $120 per hour after that and we prorate that to the closest 15 minutes ($30, $60, $90). We fully encourage you to shop around as we are very confident in our prices.
What if I have a leak?
Leaks can be tricky, and we always like to be upfront about that. If the leak is readily accessible, we can repair it.
If it isn’t readily accessible, we will be honest with you and let you know that it probably isn’t cost effective enough or even worth fixing. Some examples of this include a leak inside the foam of a spray foam spa or a leak in a part of the tub that can’t be accessed without moving the tub itself. Those are both a can of worms that often lead to wasted money and frustration that we would rather not open. Whatever the case may be though, you can count on us to be open and honest with you.
How do I pay?
We will send you an invoice by email that you can pay directly from. We accept all major credit cards and even bank account transfers (over $250), it’s all handled thru our payment system, and we never have access to your payment information.
What area do you cover?
We cover the whole Triangle area. Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Apex, Cary, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Hillsborough etc. If you live in the general triangle area by all means submit a service request and once we have your address, we can tell you if we service there or if any mileage charges apply.
Do you charge mileage?
Any addresses over 30 miles away we will charge mileage for. We charge $3 per mile over 30 miles. So, if you live 50 miles away it would look like 50 - 30 = 20 miles, 20 x 3 = $60 for mileage.
What kind of water care services do you offer?
We offer stand-alone services such as New Owner Education for $125, Drain & Clean for $250, or a Deep Clean Purge for $325.
Do you do warranty work?
The short answer is no. We do not sell hot tubs and are not an authorized dealer for any brand. Very rarely a manufacturer will authorize a 3rd party to do service work if there are no authorized dealers in the area, but that is rare. I would highly encourage you though, if your spa is still under warranty, to go thru the authorized dealer as it will save you money (or should anyway).
Having said that, I would also highly encourage you not to stay with that same dealer after the warranty expires because we can certainly fix it for a lot less than the dealer will.
